Bostock New Zealand
Bringing Organic Freshness to China with PCNZ
Overview
Bostock New Zealand is the largest organic apple producer in the Southern Hemisphere, with a proud history of sustainable growing practices. Founded in 1985, Bostock is one of the country’s largest growers and exporters of organic produce, specializing in apples, squash, onions, and grain. The company also exports conventional apples on behalf of independent orchardists. Bostock New Zealand is 100% owned by John Bostock and has been shipping premium apples to China since 2014. With a commitment to organic production that prioritizes soil health, sustainability, and biodiversity, Bostock caters to health-conscious consumers in over 20 countries, including China. The company’s new IP Apple Varieties, such as Dazzle and Premier Star, have proven particularly popular among Chinese consumers.

"Being part of the PCNZ means we have in-market representation and staff on the ground in China who are actively helping us grow the China organic apple market. Collaborating with the other large New Zealand apple exporters, we are able to leverage the scale and have someone on the ground representing our brand in China. We look forward to continuing the work with PCNZ into the future as we grow the China organic apple market in partnership with PCNZ."
